I translate into Spanish (my mother tongue) from English, Dutch and French. The services I offer are the result of my experience and ongoing training as a professional translator, as well as of my vital interests and abilities. Who am I as a person? Dynamic, organized, proactive, optimistic and hard-working: I might be small (which I am), but I am tough! And as a translator? Sharp and meticulous, looking for a natural and fluent result in Spanish. I always work from your perspective, racking my brain so that your message gets to your audience the way you want it. Because I am not your voice in another language: I give you a voice in that language.
Translation
I work with CAT tools such as memoQ or Trados, and I have experience translating with Smartling and Wordfast. I don’t work that much with machine translation, but I have experience with postediting.
Correction
I can check the spelling, grammar and punctuation of your text and edit it for correctness. Additionally, I can check if your text reads well and is fluent, and does not come across as a literal translation.
Adaptation to
non-sexist language
Non-sexist language (also known as gender-neutral or inclusive language) will make sure that your text doesn’t leave anyone out.
Interpretation
(language assistance)
You will talk to me in English, I will interpret (verbally translate) your words into Spanish and will translate back to English.
